Bill Kautz is director, portfolio planning at Tellabs global portfolio marketing group. In this role, he is responsible for segmentation, message development and marketing responsibilities across the Tellabs product portfolio.
Prior to this role, Kautz held various management, marketing, planning and development roles across Tellabs digital cross-connect, transport and cable telephony products, including both SONET and VoIP developments.
Kautz has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois.

There's no one-size-fits-all approach. You have to first look at your own situation. What is your business model? What are your overall communications needs? Do you want a converged network or one dedicated to SCADA traffic?
