Conflict minerals — tungsten, tin, tantalum and gold — are fueling some of the deadliest conflicts since World War II.
Most of these materials come from mines in or near the Democratic Republic of Congo. Armed groups are at war to control profits, worth hundreds of millions of dollars every year.

Slavery. A relic that doesn't exist in today's world, right?
Sadly, no. Slavery, also known as human trafficking, is alive and well. And expectations for business to eradicate this horrific practice are rising.

The other day, I watched the weather radar on my iPad while we hunkered down during a tornado warning. I had a group of colleagues around me watching it too, calling their families to let them know when the storm would arrive in their area. Did anybody drag a laptop with them? No way.
