Tellabs has enjoyed working with sales partners for twenty-five years

and we value the relationship and support they provide to their end customers. If you also value strong partnerships, we are interested in exploring new opportunities.

Tellabs does not flood the market with multiple channels all going after the same customers offering the same solutions. Our philosophy is to have fewer and deeper relationships with sales partners, and to customize sales, marketing and support programs jointly. This assures that we match our support tools to the areas that will have the fastest return on investment to your business model. This also minimizes channel conflict for sales partners and avoids confusion for customers.

There are no Gold, Silver and Bronze partner categories and no rigid requirements to continually attain.

Tellabs sales partners fall into 2 basic categories in North America:

  • Product Channel Partners — those organizations that are authorized to order and resell Tellabs products and services to end user customers.
  • Stocking Distributors — those organizations that engage in stocking Tellabs products for purchase by a variety of end user customers and authorized channels.

To complement the Tellabs product sale and provide a complete solution to customers, Product Channel Partners and Stocking Distributors can offer Support Services by setting up an agreement with Tellabs to:

  • Resell Tellabs products and resell Tellabs deployment, tech support and other services. These services are delivered to customers by Tellabs' customer service organization.
  • Resell Tellabs products and also provide their own branded deployment, tech support and other services.

Based on their business strategy and capabilities, partners have the flexibility to choose which products and services they want to resell and what services they want to deliver to their customers.
