(MSAP) offers a medium-density, full-service option ideal for smaller deep-fiber applications.
Leveraging Tellabs' leadership position in fiber solutions, the compact Tellabs® 1134 MSAP enables small- and medium-sized operators to address their entire network, both greenfield and overbuild, and meet the growing demand of high-bandwidth services, including IPTV, High-Speed Internet (HSI) and Video on Demand (VoD).
Derived from existing technology based on the Tellabs® 1150 Multiservice Access Platform, the Tellabs 1134 MSAP is a flexible, remote solution offering a service density optimized for low cost, low power and small size while simultaneously supporting the latest high-speed access technologies over fiber (G.984 GPON) and copper (VDSL2/ADSL2+).
- Native IP/Ethernet platform delivers high-bandwidth, cost-effective technology in a small 4RU footprint serving up to 512 subscribers
- Supports Gigabit Passive Optical Network Fiber-to-the-Premises (GPON FTTP), Fiber-to-the-Node and Fiber-to-the-Curb broadband, narrowband and legacy copper services
- Supports the migration of existing cabinet infrastructures to Tellabs Deep Fiber Solutions™
- Designed to be deployed in existing cabinets, enabling service providers to deploy revenue-generating services via multiple deep fiber access architectures in areas that may have previously been unreachable due to cost or space constraints
