The Tellabs® 7190 Element Manager
is a graphical management tool for craft and operations personnel that speeds provisioning, minimizes errors and improves productivity.
Manage up to 20 Network Elements (NEs).
The 7190 is used to manage up to 20 NEs providing fault, configuration, performance, and security (FCPS) functionality. It is based on the International Telecommunications Union-Telecommunications Standards Section (ITU-TMN) FCPS model and is built on a reliable client-server architecture.
When used with the Tellabs® 7192 Integrated System Manager, the Tellabs 7190 Element Manager can be deployed at the central office and used as a hot standby backup providing management system redundancy in the event of a data communications network (DCN) failure. The Tellabs 7190 Element Manager can also be installed on a laptop for Craft Station operations.
Tellabs 7190 Element Manager server is typically deployed at the central office (CO) location, co-located with the Tellabs 7000 series NEs. However, it can be deployed at the Network Operations Center (NOC) to manage smaller networks centrally.
