The Tellabs 8184 Access Switch is a newest member of the Tellabs® 8100 managed access system. It is a compact, modular and scalable 4/1/0 cross-connect node supporting most of the interface units used in other Tellabs 8100 network elements.
Tellabs 8188 Access Switch is also a brand new Tellabs 8100 managed access system element. It is modular and scalable 4/1/0 cross-connect node supporting most of the interface units used in other Tellabs 8100 network elements.
Both of these network elements are fully managed by the Tellabs® 8000 network manager.
