Tellabs® 8606 Ethernet Aggregator
A managed Ethernet switch with Fast and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, for Ethernet aggregation in the access network towards the IP/MPLS (Internet Protocol/Multi-protocol Label Switching) based Tellabs 8000 networks.
Manageable through the Tellabs 8000 network manager, the Tellabs 8606 Ethernet aggregator offers a cost-optimized solution to aggregate traffic from multiple Fast Ethernet ports towards the IP/MPLS network and enables the provision of guaranteed Quality-of-Service (QoS).
