Tellabs® 8630 Access Switch

enables service providers to build a managed MPLS access and regional network as a long term solution for cost-efficient and managed delivery of mobile transport, Ethernet services and IP based services.

The Tellabs 8630 access switch is an IP/MPLS-based router with thorough implementation of carrier-class functions. Thanks to its distributed switching and modular architecture, it has low initial cost of deployment and excellent scalability. Tellabs 8630 access switch is designed to especially offer the functionality needed in mobile networks.
