This instructor-led course provides knowledge and skills needed to perform basic operational and maintenance tasks on Tellabs 7100 Optical Transport Systems via TL1. It has been updated to include FP4.2.1 features/services/applications.
This course includes an optional 2.5 hours end of course assessment which consists of a knowledge test and a performance test. Participants opting to take the course assessment must also enroll in the Tellabs 7100 TL1 Provisioning & Maintenance Assessment (GSST71TL1PM42A).
After taking this course the participants should be able to:
- Navigate Tellabs 7100 documentation.
- Provision traffic including:
- SONET/SDH using Tellabs 7191 Craft Station
- Packet Sub-system using Command Line Interface (CLI)
- Perform troubleshooting tasks for typical alarms using Tellabs user documentation and measurement data.
- Identify/perform common maintenance tasks
