This web-based course provides knowledge and skills needed to implement, operate, engineer, maintain, and manage a Tellabs 5500 FP 13.0 system.

This course includes a 0.5-hour knowledge test at the end of the course.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
• Name the new hardware in Tellabs 5500 FP 13.0
• Understand the HD-384 shelf capacity requirements and configurations
• List the provisioning commands for STS12C
 

Prerequisites: Prior to enrollment, students must have completed the following:
Tellabs 5500 Provisioning and Maintenance instructor-led training

It is also highly recommended that students:
• have completed the Tellabs 5500 System Architecture, FP11.0 web-based training, and
• have basic knowledge in SONET technologies

Audience: This course is designed for technicians, field deployment, field service, and/or technical support personnel who are or will be responsible for operating, provisioning, and maintaining a Tellabs 5500 FP 13.0 Digital Cross Connect System.
