This web-based course provides knowledge and skills in Transaction Language 1 (TL1) needed to operate and maintain a Tellabs 5500 system. It has been updated to include FP10.0 information. 

After taking this course, participants should be able to:

  • Input TL1 commands
  • Interpret TL1 system output messages
  • Navigate the GUI for the 5500 system
Prerequisites: In order to successfully complete this course, participants must have a working knowledge of:

  • Voice and data communications
  • T1, T3, and SONET transmissions
Audience: Any system technician, administrator, and/or network manager who needs a basic understanding of TL1 specifics for the Tellabs 5500 system.
