This ONT installation video is a supplementary material to the Tellabs 1600 ONT Installation technical documentation. It will help ensure a successful ONT installation job for installers.

The video demonstrates how to install a Tellabs Single Family Unit (SFU) ONT and a Tellabs Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) ONT. The demonstration uses ONT 611 as an example for SFU ONT installation and ONT 621 as an example for MDU ONT installation. The MDU ONT installation procedures may also apply to Tellabs Small Business Unit (SBU) ONT 631 and Tellabs Multiple Tenant Unit (MTU) ONT 641.

After completing this video, participants should be able to:

  • Install a Tellabs 1600 SFU ONT, and/or
  • Install a Tellabs 1600 MDU/SBU/MTU ONT
Prerequisites: None.
Audience: This video is primarily designed for the installers or field technicians who are responsible for installing a Tellabs 1600 ONT 611, 612, 621, 625, 631, or 641.

Duration: Self-paced. Average time to complete is about 80 minutes.
