This instructor-led course provides the practical knowledge and skills needed to maintain and troubleshoot the new features in FP 7.0 and FP 7.1 of the Tellabs 5320L system.

This course provides technicians with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience required to learn and maintain new features, in particular, inclusion of the GR-303 standard as well as the surveillance port features. In addition, the course will benefit management personnel who have direct responsibility for servicing the Tellabs 5320L.

After taking this course the participants should be able to:

  • Recognize how the GR-303 standard is used to dynamically allocate DS0s between a switch and a RDT (Remote Digital Terminal).
  • Perform provisioning commands related to GR-303 functionalities.
  • Perform the tasks required to maintain and troubleshoot GR-303
  • Perform the tasks required to maintain and support the new surveillance port features

This course includes assessment checks.

Prerequisites: In order to successfully complete this course, participants must have successfully completed the Tellabs 5320L Fundamentals FP6.1 course.
Audience: This course is designed for technicians and/or any individuals responsible for operating, provisioning, and maintaining a Tellabs 5320L system.
