This instructor-led course provides the practical knowledge and skills needed to configure, operate, and maintain Digital Data Service. The course includes background information and application of the Universal Service Module, the Multipoint Junction Unit and the Subrate Data Multiplexer. Hands-on activities are provided in a controlled lab environment.

This course provides technicians with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience required to maintain the Tellabs 5320L Digital Data System features. In addition, the course will benefit management personnel who have direct responsibility for servicing the Tellabs 5320L system.

Prerequisites: Participants must have a working knowledge of T1 transmission. A basic knowledge of voice and data communications is recommended. Participants must have attended the Tellabs 5320L Fundamentals, FP6.1 course.
Audience: This course is intended for technicians responsible for operating and/or maintaining the Tellabs 5320L in a T1, T3, E1, and/or EC1 environment.
