This instructor-led course provides knowledge and skills needed to understand the basic features of a router. Participants will be introduced to basic routing principles, IP subnetting, and static and dynamic routing.
This course includes an optional 30-minute end of course knowledge assessment. Participants opting to take the assessment must also enroll in the Routing Technology - Knowledge Test (RTKT) when enrolling this instructor-led course.
After taking this course, participants should be able to:
- Describe the basic function of a router
- Perform IP subnetting for a network
- Identify Subnet IDs and broadcast IPs
- Configure static and dynamic routing
