This web-based course provides knowledge and skills needed to implement the new features of a Tellabs 5500 system at Feature Packages 11.0.1, 11.1, and 12.0.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Become familiar with FP 12.0 features and functions
  • Become familiar with the features and functions introduced in FP 11.1
  • Become familiar with the features and functions introduced in FP 11.0.1
Prerequisites: In order to benefit from this introduction, participants should have attended previous feature package Tellabs 5500 Fundamentals or a minimum of one year hands-on experience on the Tellabs 5500. In addition, it is highly recommended that students have basic knowledge in Echo Cancellation technologies and have completed Tellabs 5500 VQE Application web-based training.
Audience: This course is designed for technicians, field deployment, field service, and/or technical support personnel who are, or will be, responsible for operating, provisioning, maintaining a Tellabs 5500 system at its FP12.0.
