12 new software enhancements plus a sleek 8-port ONT in our latest Optical LAN Software Release

Tellabs™ Optical LAN Software Release 30.1 (SR30.1) and the new 8-port Tellabs™ 180C Optical Network Terminal (ONT) have entered Limited Availability for partners and customers.

 

SR30.1 includes 12 new software features, starting with improvements in security (Dynamic ARP Inspection, security policies per role or individual), greater operational efficiencies (alarm notification via email, better bulk configuration tools, enhanced search capabilities) and improved reliability (diagnostic report additions, new ONT status report).

 

The Tellabs 180C ONT is the ideal choice when additional Gigabit Ethernet connections are required for contemporary IP-based enterprise services and applications such as unified communications, all forms of enterprise IP video, high-speed data, wireless, security, access controls and building automation. The ONT supports the latest IEEE 4-Pair Power over Ethernet. (4PPoE), which means that IEEE 802.3af/at/bt can be delivered from any of the eight (8) 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
