Big Success For Tellabs, Our Partners And Optical LAN At Technet Asia-Pacific

Last week was a very productive week for Tellabs, our Partners and Optical LAN at the AFCEA TechNet Asia-Pacific conference. The conference was very well attended by key government personnel in the Pacific region and the supporting vendor community. Focus areas included Cyber Enablers, Resilience, and Mission Success. I was particularly impressed with the pre-planned technical training and leadership training programs offered.

We spoke directly to hundreds of attendees eager to hear how Passive Optical LAN exceeds the requirements for information technology and communications policies for the civilian, defense, homeland security and intelligence communities.

It was great to see the education and advocacy that was moved forward at TechNet Asia-Pacific by our key partners Envistacom, Blackbox and VT Group in support of Passive Optical LAN.

For Optical LAN, it was encouraging that the TechNet Asia-Pacific conference agenda and continued education covered topics that Passive Optical LAN positively impacts, like Cybersecurity, Software Defined Networking and Assured Services Session Initiation Protocol (AS-SIP) and Optical Networking.
