HITEC Toronto And A Downtown Madison Hotel Optical LAN Case Study

HITEC Toronto 2017 is just around the corner and my advice to you is to keep a close eye on Tellabs over the next couple of weeks. Consider this to be a friendly heads-up that we are planning a steady stream of interesting Passive Optical LAN news that we will be sharing before, during and after the conference.

Well heck, why wait? Let me go ahead and share some OLAN news.

Tellabs (HITEC booth #1750) will be at the world’s largest hospitality technology show at HITEC 2017 in Toronto on June 26th through 29th. Along with our ecosystem of partners, we will be educating hotel developers, owners and operators on the reasons why Passive Optical LAN is the hottest growing technology in hospitality.

With the help of Vision Technologies, who provided design, integration and installation services, we are releasing a new Optical LAN case study featuring a modern downtown Madison Wisconsin hotel installation owned and operated by North Central Group. What is interesting about this OLAN case study is how the major international hotel chain fancied a modern IT infrastructure that matched their contemporary brand, the owner-operator North Central Group desired an IT design that fulfilled their commitment to green sustainability initiatives and the hotel guests – well the hotel guests just wanted a fast and reliable fast connectivity. The Tellabs Optical LAN delivered and satisfied on all the above criteria.

If you would like to learn more about Passive Optical LAN used for hotels and resorts, you can access additional hospitality specific resources on our website.
